About me

10 years ago, I left home (France) on a bicycle, and traveled across 20+ countries on a bicycle during the Startup Cycling project. Meeting Startup CEOs to learn from them and share their stories.

But when I landed in Indonesia, I lost everything to ATM fraud. No money, no backup plan. A generous Balinese family kindly took me in. That moment changed everything.

After months of struggle, I built a six-figure e-commerce business with my friend Nick, sold thousands of products online, and ran a coliving villa in Bali. I loved the experience and journey. But none of it felt grounded.

Once my financial situation was solved, all the wins felt empty.

So I walked away.

In 2018, I found myself on a remote island in Sulawesi called Buka Buka. No roads. No running water. Not even a small village. Just ocean, jungle, and silence.

I bought a land on it, built a shack, and slowly started something that spoke to my soul: Reconnect — a small, solar-powered eco-resort that respects nature and grows on its own terms.

In 2024, I became an Indonesian citizen. Not as a symbol, but as a commitment. I gave up my French passport because this is where I now belong, with my local wife and our daughter Athena.

I'll finish this page later.
